Project Overview

The Sydney Gateway Project is a significant infrastructure development in Sydney, Australia, aimed at improving road connectivity between the Sydney Airport, Port Botany, and the broader Sydney motorway network. The project includes the construction of new road connections, upgrades to existing roads, and the creation of dedicated freight and passenger vehicle routes. Upon completion, the Sydney Gateway Project is expected to ease traffic congestion, enhance freight and passenger transportation efficiency, and support Sydney’s economic growth.

Project Scope

Rocktown has been engaged by John Holland Seymour Whyte to complete the FRP elements in relation to 7 of its bridges along with the partial substructure of another and a pedestrian underpass. The work scope has been ongoing over the past 2 years and is expected to reach completion near the end of 2023.
